From the Latin, extāmus is a verb, the first-person plural present active indicative of extō. Kind of a mouthful, huh? Put simply, it means we exist. We are here.

Maybe that doesn't seem like a very powerful message for a media company. So, what?

But, to us, having the right to exist is a big deal. For many of us, simply being here, just existing, is revolutionary. And claiming a voice in that existence can be downright scandalous. At Extamus, we are working every day to change that, and to make our world a place where everyone has the same right to be here—to exist.
